FOLLOW YOUR ART: Art Comes Alive 2020
Why aren’t artists acknowledged for all they do too?
Why aren’t artists acknowledged for all they do too?
That's the question I had in 2006 while attending a large business awards ceremony. Then I realized, I could do something even bigger for artists all across the nation. That was the moment that Art Comes Alive (ACA) was born.
For those of you that don’t know me, I’m a believer in the power of connecting people. I attend as many art openings, business luncheons, client events, awards presentations, speaking engagements and designer events as I can. I'm convinced that meeting people face-to-face creates meaningful relationships.
ACA is meant to do exactly that – bring artists, collectors, art dealers/galleries and industry professionals together to do business and build strong relationships.
I remember our first event! The room was packed and I had a microphone but no stage. That year we gave away $65,000 in awards and it was a huge thrill. Now, 10 years later we have over $350,000 in awards and will continue to go even bigger and stronger.
