Working in themes related to nature, color energy and light resonance, Mary Barr Rhodes is a mixed-media artist working with materials that emphasize her unique point of view and vision as an artist. Rhodes has a global audience with work residing across the Americas and Europe and pulls from natural influences and our current era of consciousness.

OF CONNECTION
Observing the world we're in, Rhodes identifies the connection between the environment, and the energy and light both within us and around us. Harnessing these subtleties and finding the marriage between metals, mineral elements and colors she creates scenes that are both serene and exhilarating.
While process drives the form, Mary directs the function. Her keen understanding of the different materials used in her work allows her to pursue a creation that has a purpose beyond the visual - she creates rich moments of healing and deep restoration.
LIGHT RESONANCE
Light Resonance is the absorption of the light frequency.
Color Resonance occurs when colors vibrate at a complementing frequency of another.
Color and light can heal the physical, spritiual and mental energy of a human.
Each piece created has an intention and purpose – to create moments of healing for the viewer.
