ART INSPIRED BY CHILD WONDER
Based in coastal North Carolina, artist Howard Bollinger spent his career as Senior Vice President of Product Concepts at Kenner/Hasbro Toys. Legendary toy launches under his direction range from Star Wars toys – the top toy line in the world – to Jurassic Park,fGhostbusters, Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcake, Littlest Pet Shop, MASK and more.
Perpetually inspired by the industry surrounding him, Bollinger drew images that were clearly from another plane of creativity. Whether in a meeting with Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Dan Akroyd, Jim Cameron or someone on his toy concept team, Bollinger would find himself drawing on a meeting agenda, a napkin, or his oak conference table.
This art invites you to enter a portal into the painting, to seek out new hidden discoveries when you turn the canvas.

Bollinger has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from University of Cincinnati. He studied under Robert Fabe, Reginald Grooms, and Phil Foster. Bollinger has taken part in exhibitions and galleries such as Art Essex curated by George Billis and David Misello, Landfall Art Show in Wilmington, NC and Airlie Gardens Art in the Park ,with his work in collections coast to coast.
