Original art is more
than just a pretty picture.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Linette Kuy and Dr. Daniel Kuy of Kuy Plastic Surgery in Cincinnati to help them transform their office space. Their goal: “To create a nurturing environment, one that would soothe and reflect the beauty of nature . . . both human nature and our environment.” Of course, we had some beautiful pieces in mind to meet their goal.

Art Reinforces a Business' Mission

“Our business has to do with one's external appearance reflecting the vitality and youthfulness felt inside our hearts and minds while preserving the uniqueness of our character and personality.” Therefore, we chose pieces to specifically address this notion: faces that reveal a depth of emotion and serious contemplation and experience with life.” Linette adds, “I have a particular obsessive passion for flowers, and Lisa Schuster’s art shares this intense and heartfelt passion.”

How Art Impacts the Office Culture

“Our patients and staff enjoy the artwork throughout our office, and every day we feel the ambiance and energy it creates. It has something to do with the beauty and serenity evoked in each artwork. We are constantly receiving positive comments and inquiries about the artwork, and even more so, customers say, ‘We love coming to your office!’"

Why buy original art over art prints for your office?

There is a drastic shift in quality when you look at an original fine-artwork versus a print. Original fine art is hand-crafted by an artist, ensuring a finer, more carefully-perfected quality. And we knew we had to select artwork that reflected the fine quality and care of their practice.

Linette emphasizes, “Original art brings to our office the energy and emotion and creative spirit of the artist; one sees every stroke that was purposefully placed, and we, therefore, engage more with the art and are likewise stimulated by it.”

“Selecting artwork is great fun and always a mind-expanding and energizing experience, but especially with Litsa and her enthusiastic staff. Litsa gets to know her clients and their interests and easily grasps the context and installation particulars, such as lighting and approach and movement within a space. We love to work with ADC on creating an office that our clients and staff will appreciate every day.”
