ADC GOES TO NEW YORK AND MIAMI!
We are thrilled that “in person” art fairs are back with attendance strong, sales high and great connections made everywhere!
This year ADC went to Art Expo New York and Red Dot Miami
ARTEXPO New york
I was asked by the show managers at ARTEXPO New York to speak at four educational seminars and promote my book “Secrets of the Artworld” on topics like “How to build a Great Art Collection” and “Trends in Art/Interior Design." At that moment, I said to myself “why not” and decided to take a leap of faith and register for an exhibit booth space too. We hadn’t been to a national show in over two years, and I was a bit cautious about it, so registered for a smaller space than what we normally show in, but GOOD NEWS - we ended up selling 50 pieces. This included everything in our booth as well as commissions. I met incredibly talented artists and established new collectors during the five days I was there. We will be back again in 2022 – no doubt!
Red Dot Miami
Sales during Miami art week/Art Basel were strong. For this show, Sylvia and I went ALL OUT and took 23 artists with us to show and sell in one of the largest exhibit spaces at the RED DOT show. Many of these artists who we also promote and feature in our BLINK Art Resource book, came to experience the show and network with gallery owners and collectors. We showcased paintings, mixed media, glass, sculpture and photography. Artwork sold ranged from hundreds of dollars to six figures. And because we are always looking out for our artists, we offered installation in their homes or offices during the week. Many collectors took us up on that – which made for a very busy show. Wow, what an amazing experience!
First show of 2022
We are excited to announce that our next show will be in the beautiful state of Utah March 31-April 4th. This location will be a first for us, but we feel confident that Park City/Salt Lake – being one of the wealthiest areas of the US - will be a success.
