DESCRIPTION: Seeking an artist/artist team who lives, works or is connected to the Rondo and/or Frogtown neighborhoods in Saint Paul to create and install a large permanent public artwork on the exterior of the Rondo Community Library. This RFQ will consist of a two-part process, with an initial response to this RFQ due in October. Finalists will receive a stipend to prepare a full proposal. Selected artist/artist team will receive $40,000 to cover all expenses related to creating and installing artwork on the Rondo Library.

33rd Annual International Exhibition

ORGANIZATION: the University of Texas at Tyler
DESCRIPTION: The Annual International Exhibition is a juried visual art competition organized by the Department of Art and Art History at The University of Texas at Tyler. Internationally known artists, curators, and scholars have served as jurors selecting works for exhibition created by some of the best contemporary artists working today. The Department purchases three to six works from the exhibition each year; purchased works are added to our permanent collection. The permanent collection serves as an educational teaching resource; much of the permanent collection is exhibited throughout the UT Tyler main campus.
ENTRY AND FEES This exhibition will be juried from digital media. Artists may submit up to three works for consideration for the non-refundable fee of $35. Entries must be submitted via CaFE (Call for Entries).

4th Annual Leaves and Petals Art Competition- Online Exhibition

ORGANIZATION: Fusion Art
DESCRIPTION: Fusion Art invites submissions for the 4th Annual Leaves & Petals art competition for an online exhibition during the month of December 2018.
For this competition, both 2D and 3D artists, worldwide, are invited to submit their best art and photography depicting the flowers, leaves, herbs, plants, shrubs, bushes, hedges and other botanical or floral subjects. All artists, regardless of location or experience, are encouraged to submit their best work in any medium.
All competitions include awards in three categories – “Traditional” Art, “Digital & Photography” and Sculpture/3-Dimensional Art (if the gallery receives 3D entries). Best in Show and 2nd through 5th Place awards will be given. The Best in Show winners will be invited to Fusion Art’s 3rd Annual Group Show in Palm Springs in February 2019. The top five award-winning artists will have their award-winning artwork included in Fusion Art’s gallery on Artsy.net. Artsy is the largest online database of contemporary art online and receives an average of 2.5 million visitors a month from 160 countries and has become the “go to” place for collectors to find and buy art online.

ART COMES ALIVE – NOW OPEN FOR ENTRIES
Known as the “Academy Awards for Art,” Art Comes Alive (ACA), ADC's annual art competition and exhibit, is embarking on its 10th year of helping artists get their work in front of art-industry professionals such as interior designers, art galleries, private art collectors, and corporate collections. Each year the art competition gets bigger and better, and this year over $300,000 in awards will be given to artists through gallery contracts, purchase awards, publishing contracts, and more!
