DESCRIPTION: The Art in Architecture (AIA) Program of the University of Illinois Facilities & Services is pleased to announce a Request for Proposals (RFP) to recognized professional artists, artisans, or artist-led teams, to create permanent original public artwork for the interior of the new Illinois Street Residence Dining Facility “Main Street” area.

Stevens Point Sculpture Park – $1,500

ORGANIZATION: Stevens Point Sculpture Park
AWARD / BUDGET: $1,500
DESCRIPTION: The Stevens Point Sculpture Park, located in central Wisconsin, is accepting submissions of sculpture work for their annual, three-year outdoor sculpture exhibition. A local jury will choose pieces for display from August 2018 through August 2021.

Draper Experiment 2019 – Exhibition

Wilmington, Delaware USA
ORGANIZATION: The Delaware Contemporary
DESCRIPTION: The Delaware Contemporary introduces the Draper Experiment, a two-month-long exhibition cycle featuring local, regional, and national artists. The Draper Experiment is not only for experimental artwork or performance, but is, in itself, an experiment, embodying The Delaware Contemporary’s mission of innovation and opportunities for contemporary artists. Each exhibition unit will begin with an opening reception during our first Friday Art Loop and be on display for two months. Individual artists, artist groups, and artist collectives are invited to submit proposals for their Draper Experiment.

Indoor Public Wall Sculpture – Minneapolis, MN - $40,000

Minneapolis, Minnesota USA
AWARD / BUDGET: $40,000
DESCRIPTION: This historic building renovation, located in the heart of downtown Minneapolis, needs a large signature sculpture to be prominently displayed on the wall behind the front desk on the first floor of the building.
The piece will be wall-mounted and designed to complement the rich history of Minneapolis, its culture and the city’s appreciation of the arts. This is a public space that houses a restaurant, bar and boutique hotel. This space is all about being local, through design, food and beverage, art and knowledge.

Nude: Human Form Exhibit Competition

ORGANIZATION: Manifest Creative Research Gallery and Drawing Center

DESCRIPTION: The human body is a popular subject for many reasons, the most obvious being that it is us. Throughout history, the representation of the human form has been charged with tremendous energy, both positive and negative.
