24th Annual The View Juried Landscape Exhibition

Kettering, Ohio USA

DEADLINE TO APPLY: April 27, 2018

ORGANIZATION: Rosewood Gallery

DESCRIPTION: Rosewood Gallery in Kettering, Ohio announces a call for entries for the 24th annual The View, a juried exhibition for Ohio artists presenting landscape or land imagery, environmental themes and world issues. Peterborough, Ontario Canada

ORGANIZATION: City of Peterborough

AWARD / BUDGET: $20,000

DESCRIPTION: The City of Peterborough invites artists or artist teams residing in Ontario to submit their credentials, examples of prior experience and a conceptual approach for an outdoor mural to be installed in Peterborough, Ontario. This call follows a two-stage selection process. Deadline for Artist Expressions if Interest: April 27th, 2018 Midnight

Public Art Opportunity, Petaluma, CA - $25,000

Petaluma, California USA

DEADLINE TO APPLY: April 30, 2018

ORGANIZATION: City of Petaluma Public Art Committee

AWARD / BUDGET: $25,000

DESCRIPTION: The City of Petaluma Public Art Committee (PPAC) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to California-based artists or artist teams for the design, fabrication, and installation of an original, durable and low-maintenance outdoor public artwork suitable for placement on city-owned property. The budget for the project is $25,000 and timeframe for project completion is 12 months or less from the signing of the contract. The PPAC will review complete RFP submittals and award one artist/team the contract to execute their public art concept(s). Further details are provided in this RFP. The deadline for RFP submissions is Monday, April 30, 5:00 p.m. (PST).

DESCRIPTION: The Arts Council of Fairfax County is accepting qualifications from artists or artist teams for a public art project in Fairfax, VA. The selected artist/team will design, fabricate, and install a permanent work of art at 8401 Arlington Boulevard, Fairfax, VA at Dewberry’s Fairfax Headquarters in spring 2019.

DESCRIPTION: The City of Tamarac is seeking Design Proposals for functional artistic bike racks that will accommodate 2 to 8 bicycles to be located throughout the city’s owned open space facilities. This competition is open to artists and design professionals, with an eye for fun and functionality.
