Thanksgiving is right around the corner and it really gets you thinking about all the wonderful things in your life. This time of year, I reflect on how truly blessed I am! I am so thankful for my amazing friends and family, a job I love, and of course for the delicious turkey and sweet potatoes that come along with the holiday! I am so deeply in love with the fall season; the romantic colors and smells are a warm comfort to me, so much that I hold a special place in my heart for artwork that captures the essence of autumn.
Every year, right around this time, I fall in love with fall—and with art—all over again.

Even with the chaos of back to school in September, and rounding the November bend into Christmas—everyone finds time to pause and look at nature’s masterpiece. The show-stopping oranges, reds, and yellows of the leaves and the gold light of the autumn sun are awe inspiring and energetic! If only the leaves stayed this way for longer…they seem here and gone again in an instant. That is why I love to bring those colors into my home through artwork! I get to enjoy the beauty of the short season, for longer—and bring the energy from the outdoors, in.

COLORING OUTSIDE THE LINES
You can bring in the energy of this season without limiting your color palette. If the vibrant primary colors we think of when we consider the season, or the spicy pumpkin oranges of the Thanksgiving holiday don’t jive with your décor—no worries! You can still express your love for fall with the colors you enjoy during the spring & summer! If your home or personality is craving a real punch of color try adding artwork with blues, purples, teals and pinks!

Seasons are constantly inspiring the world of décor, fashion & art—so let it also inspire you! What is your favorite part of this season? Is it the colors, the energy? The memories of jumping into a pile of leaves when you were young? Or maybe it’s the calm and quiet of cool days, when we cuddle up to the fireplace with a good book.
Whatever it may be, I’m certain you can find artwork that captures your
autumn—a piece of the season that will bring you warmth long after the snow begins to fall.
